This Privacy Policy explains how Mint Technology LLC ("we") collects and uses your personal data when you use BrickGains (the "Service").

1. Data we collect

Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password.
Portfolio data: the LEGO sets, prices paid and notes you add to your collection.
Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage data: basic analytics such as pages viewed and searches performed, plus a session cookie to keep you logged in.

2. How we use your data

To provide and operate the Service (accounts, portfolio, alerts).
To process subscriptions and send transactional and, if you opt in, price-alert emails.
To improve the Service and prevent abuse.

3. Legal bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), and with your consent where required (e.g. marketing emails).

4. Sharing

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service: Stripe (payments), Render (hosting), and our email provider (transactional and alert emails). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, after which we remove your personal data except where retention is required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@brickgains.com.

8. International transfers

Our servers and providers may be located in the United States. By using the Service you consent to your data being processed there.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
