🚀Getting started

What is BrickGains?

BrickGains tells you what your LEGO sets are really worth and whether it's a good time to sell. It pulls real resale prices from the LEGO marketplace (BrickLink) and tracks your collection's value and ROI over time. It runs in your browser, nothing to install.

How do I check what a set is worth?

On the homepage, type a set number (for example 10276) or a set name, then press Check value. You'll see its real resale value (new and used), its retail price, its gain versus retail, and whether it's retired or still available.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. Anyone can run 3 free value checks per day with no signup and no card. Create a free account to track sets, and upgrade for unlimited checks.

Is there a mobile app?

BrickGains works in any mobile browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app: open the browser menu and tap Add to Home Screen. A dedicated App Store app is planned later.

💳Plans & pricing

What's included in each plan?

Free ($0): 3 value checks per day, live value + retirement status, appreciation vs retail, track up to 10 sets, watchlist with buy signals.

Pro ($4.99/mo, or $3.49/mo billed yearly): unlimited value checks, full portfolio dashboard + ROI, Market Movers, watchlist buy/hold signals, eBay profit calculator, bulk import, shareable portfolio, sealed/opened grading, email price + retirement alerts, price-history charts.

Investor ($12.99/mo, or $9.09/mo billed yearly): everything in Pro, plus priority support, multi-copy tracking for resellers, bulk CSV export, insurance PDF reports, and sold-set profit & loss.

Is there a discount?

Yes, use code BRICK10 at checkout for 10% off your first month of any plan. Enter it in the promo-code field on the checkout page. Annual billing also saves about 30% versus monthly.

How do I pay? Is it secure?

Payments are handled securely by Stripe (card). You never share card details with us. After paying, your account unlocks instantly and you get a confirmation email.

📊Portfolio & tracking

How do I add sets to my portfolio?

Open the app, search a set and add it to your portfolio. Enter the price you paid and mark it as Sealed or Opened. Your dashboard then shows Paid total, Current value, Total ROI and per-set gains, live.

Can I edit a purchase or sale price?

Yes. You can edit the price you paid or sold at directly, without deleting and re-adding the set. You can also remove a set or organize sets by theme.

Can I share my portfolio?

Yes, you can generate a read-only shareable link to your portfolio. Price-history charts and portfolio history are available on paid plans.

Can I import my whole collection at once?

Yes, Pro and Investor support bulk import so you can add many sets quickly instead of one by one. Investor also supports bulk CSV export.

🧰Features

How do the Buy / Hold / Sell signals work?

Add sets to your Watchlist and BrickGains flags whether the current market suggests it's a good moment to buy, hold or sell, based on price trends and retirement status.

What is Market Movers?

Market Movers shows which sets are gaining or losing value the fastest right now, so you can spot opportunities and risks at a glance.

Can I scan a set's barcode?

Yes, use Scan a box to scan a set's barcode with your phone camera and pull it up instantly.

What is the eBay profit calculator?

It estimates your real profit after fees when selling a set, so you know your true take-home before you list it.

How do email alerts work?

Opt in from Account settings to get emailed when a watched set hits a price target, moves significantly, or is about to retire. You can turn them off anytime.

🎯Prices & accuracy

Where do the prices come from?

Prices are real recent data from the BrickLink marketplace, the reference for LEGO resale. New (sealed) and used prices are shown separately and update regularly.

How accurate are the values?

They reflect real marketplace prices, but any actual sale depends on condition, completeness, region and timing. Treat the values as a strong, data-backed estimate rather than a guaranteed sale price.

What does "retired" mean?

A retired set is no longer produced by LEGO. Retired sets often rise in value because supply is fixed, which is why BrickGains tracks retirement status and dates.

🔐Account & billing

How do I create an account?

Sign up free with your email and a password, or use Continue with Google. No card is needed for the free plan.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account and open Manage plan to cancel anytime, no lock-in. Canceling returns you to the Free plan; your portfolio and data are kept, nothing is deleted.

Can I get a refund?

See our Refund Policy for details. If something isn't working for you, email support@brickgains.com and we'll help.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password on the login screen to reset it by email. You can also change your password anytime from Account settings.

🛡️Privacy

What do you do with my data?

We don't sell your data. The free plan needs no card. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for full details.
